Other Ways to Get Involved

PEDA Internship

 

Lao national and International undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for an unpaid PEDA internship. By participating in a PEDA internship you will gain practical work experience and skills that will be useful for your future career. Candidates should be working towards a bachelor, graduate, or postgraduate degree, and all majors are welcome.


Interns can be selected and trained to facilitate the prevention of health epidemics such as HIV/AIDS/STI, malaria, and tuberculosis among vulnerable communities in Laos. Assistance provided by past interns includes participation in program implementation including in rural and remote areas, editing and proofreading documents such as grant proposals and progress reports, and website development. Any ideas for contributions are welcome and applications are encouraged as the position can be highly diverse.
